"I don't think this is where I was supposed to wind up. It kind of hurts, though. I'm kind of frustrated that I couldn't have been part of it."

"I was very glad you insisted on continuing to be involved. But after meeting her, I personally asked if I could work with her. Because both you and I were trapped too deeply in my past."

And she started crying.

"Don't cry, I'm sorry! I'm not saying this was your fault of anything!"

"No! It's okay! I'm sorry! I'll keep working my best! I'll work hard, and I'll do the job at hand!

(And then... Someday, I'll be in charge again.)
