Think Autism. Think Cure.
"Are you autistic?"
"Nope."
"Why do you wear this?"
"I bought this, and it's part of a donation too."
"My son is autistic."
There was once a time I was called an autistic boy. That remark made me angry deep inside back then. To be labeled as a boy with a disease.
What is autism actually?
Up until now, I have never really read much to understand well about autism. I only have a slight idea of what it is thru an article about a creative boy who was autistic.
He decribed the behavior of his child. The boy was hyper, likes to move around a lot. What makes this boy different is he couldn't response to the person who calls him.
He's 7 years old now currently. The theraphy has helped they boy improved, but he could only response to his father and experienced doctors.
"You gotta be firm to him. There is no use in scolding. Make sure to the kid that he will get 'this' if he does 'this'. You can't be lenient to this kid. His mother was one. She has a soft heart and sympathized easily."
"How is he now?"
"Well, compared to other kids, he's slow."
Felt the urge to hand the wrist band to his son, but didn't.
Collecting items that are rare, even precious was always a proud thing. But I'm now more of a believer of sharing or giving are caring.
I have passed my other wrist band to the one it was meant to.
Should I give mine to him now? I have wore it for long, and I want the boy to have the determination to live in a better way.
Add colours to your life!!
