Last month, we headed to Kin Kin again for ma lat papan mien since lincy guy was the only one who hasn't tried it. Chun was also eager for a second time ever since he had it once some time back.

Our chopsticks and stuff were taken without being asked by this family who doesn't seem to be fazed by their actions.

Here's the way to prepare before being consumed.

The family who operated this restaurant had a bit of history behind them... and it's usually nice to tell it to people who first timed this place to pass the waiting time, as it can be pretty long.

It can be a battle to eat even a bowl of this papan mien but usually depends how it's prepared and consumed. Chun himself loved to put around 4 spoons of ma lat, mixed it, and then gobbled it up. Chun will ate it up fast to minimize the suffering in his mouth but it's quite unfortunate as the heat will we passed to the stomach... not long after it's gone past the mouth.
